BOOKS FOR AFRICA - IBBY CONGRESS 2004 CALL FOR
PAPERS, WORKSHOPS & POSTER SESSIONS
In coming to Cape Town in September 2004, IBBY Congress
comes for the first time to Africa. BOOKS FOR AFRICA will have two broad

its heritage all over the world; and then an exploration of how to provide
African young people with the books they urgently need.
The Programme Committee invites writers, artists, storytellers, librarians,
teachers, academics, youth workers, literacy & reading experts,
publishers, book sellers to send proposals for papers, practical workshops
and posters. See www.sacbf.org.za
for theme details.
