2003 Prague International Book Fair features Africa
Topic of fair’s central exhibition is African literature

9th Prague International Book Fair, 24-27 April 2003, focuses on Africa. The literary part of the programme will be prepared by the organiser in co-operation with its professional partners from abroad, international cultural institutions and will also focus on the African literary diaspora in order to offer as comprehensive a presentation of African literature and its publishers as possible. This would also enable us to provide such effective promotion of the African participation that would reach important publishing houses in the world that publish African literature. Bookworld, the organisers of the Prague fair, consider APNET - African Publishers Network, associating publishers from 43 countries of the African continent, the main professional guarantor of the event on the part of the African book market. Program is held under the auspices of the Czech Committee of UNESCO. www.bookworld.cz
